Being asked to participate in Jim Walsh’s The Replacements: All Over But the Shouting, An Oral History is probably the highlight of my life thus far. Not only has Walsh been one of my writing heroes since I was like 19, but I got a chance to go on and on about how very much I love The Replacements.

This was the first book I ever had a chance to work on. Editing it was definitely a challenge, but well worth the effort. Words cannot convey how great it is to hold a book you worked on in your hands.

One of the best things about editing Scrapbooking the Digital Way was that I learned a ton about graphic design and photo editing. These are tips and tricks I still use all the time. Plus, working on this project was a lot of fun because the author brought so much joy and passion to a field that wholly new to me.

I had no idea that Kathleen Turner had even written a memoir until one of the book’s reviewers e-mailed me to let me know. Of course, I thought it was all some sort of prank, until I got the book and saw it with my own eyes. Bold and fearless? Who knew?
